Ocean Literacy in Action at the European Ocean Days

Hosted by DG MARE and the vibrant EU4Ocean coalition, and with the support of IOC/UNESCO, Ocean Literacy in Action at the European Ocean days will be filled with insightful discussions and activities centred around ocean literacy.

This event will shine a spotlight on the collective achievements of the EU4Ocean coalition’s three pillars – the platform, the Youth4Ocean Forum, and the Network of Blue Schools – complemented by global insights from IOC/UNESCO initiatives.

But there’s more! This event will also be celebrating International Women’s Day, highlighting the extraordinary contributions of women in ocean science, art, and education.

This event will be held at Sparks Meeting, Rue Ravenstein 60, 1000 Brussels, on 8 March 2024.
