Daniel develops his work in the Division of Innovation and Technology of ACCIONA Construction, in the field of innovative environmental technologies and sustainable services for the construction sector. In recent years, he has specialized in industrial symbiosis and the valorisation of construction and demolition waste, as well as other industrial waste, as a tool for a circular economy.
He has experience in the elaboration of technical reports of proposals and in the coordination and management of research projects, both national and international, funded by the EU. He worked on the FISSAC project coordination team (H2020) “Promotion of industrial symbiosis for a sustainable industry with intensive use of resources throughout the extended construction value chain”. Currently, he is the coordinator of the Horizon ICARUS project “Increasing circularity in process industries by Upcycling Secondary Resources”.
As a technical consultant, he also advises and supports Acciona’s works for the application of innovative technologies and processes in order to improve the sustainability and profitability of the company.
