Ms. Ditte Juul Jørgensen is the Director General of DG Energy and has 27 years of experience in the European Commission. Her professional career includes positions as Head of Cabinet of Competition Commissioner Vestager and Director for WTO, Legal Affairs and Trade in Goods in the Commission’s Directorate-General for Trade.
In addition, she had postings as Head of the Economic Section of the EU Delegation to the United Nations in New York, as well as at the European Court of Justice and at the European Commission Directorate-General for Competition.
Mrs. Ditte Juul Jørgensen is a graduate in law of the College of Europe, Bruges, and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
