Encouraging greener travel across borders with the Interrail pass.

The Interrail Pass remains as relevant and popular today as it did from the start in 1972. With just one pass, travelers of all ages are able to visit up to 33 different European countries.

For almost 50 years, the Interrail Pass has been providing unique travel experiences filled with adventure, freedom, and flexibility while offering a gateway to the geographical, historical, and cultural richness of Europe.

Rail is one of the most environmentally friendly and energy-efficient ways of traveling. 2021 has been named by the European Commission as the European Year of Rail – with the aim of highlighting the benefits of rail as a smart, sustainable, and safe means of transport.

A variety of activities this year is putting rail in the spotlight across the continent, to encourage the use of rail by both citizens and businesses, and contributing to the EU Green Deal goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2050.

With an Interrail Pass, travelers are able to make travel decisions that leave a positive impact on the world.
