Mediterranean forests are home to incredible biodiversity. However, amidst the climate conditions, questions arise about the future appearance of our forests.
Building on research, science, and current practices, Magda Bou Dagher Kharrat, Professor and Scientist at the Mediterranean Facility of the European Forest Institute (EFI) and Jordi Vayreda Duran, Researcher in the Forrest Restoration, conservation, and resilience CO2 Project, CREAF, will discuss practices of conservation and valorisation of Mediterranean cultural and natural heritages, as well as Mediterranean forest resilience in this session of the Med Dialogues +2030 moderated by Patricia Carbonell, Head of REVOLVE’s Barcelona Office.
