European Hydrogen Week 2025
Hydrogen is a key player in the fight to curb climate change, due to its multiple end-uses and scope within the energy system, as recognised already by the EU Hydrogen Strategy and by the EU Green Deal. With the latest political developments, namely the decreasing affordability of energy, availability of raw materials and the need to boost the sustainable competitiveness of the European industry, it has acquired an even more central role, presenting itself simultaneously as an ally of decarbonisation, growth, and autonomy for Europe.
The current European mandate will issue critical legislation that can further support the hydrogen economy – despite the challenges ahead, this is a massive opportunity to develop a strong European hydrogen supply chain, break free of fossil fuels, and deliver the ambitious climate goals required to keep the planet’s temperature increase under 1.5 °C.
The 2025 edition of the European Hydrogen Week Conference is about all this and more, bringing together all stakeholders across the value chain covering a variety of topics: from policy, business, technology, research, to finance and funding – all around the hydrogen sector.
