Director of Tabreed Asia since 2021 and Country Manager of Tabreed India since 2019, Sudheer Perla manages the joint venture between Tabreed & IFC leading the company’s market entry into India and the broader South East Asia Region. Majority part of this effort includes Market Creation, Innovation and Business Localization to scale Cooling As A Service and district cooling adoption in these regions. He has been with Tabreed ‘cooling’ company in the UAE, serving in different capacities, since 2009.
Prior to Tabreed, Sudheer worked in the financial analysis, investment banking, audit and assurance services with different companies including Chescor Capital, Infosys Technologies, KM Bullion Trading, and PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC).
As part of Tabreed’s core business team, he is also actively involved with initiatives like UNEP & UNESCAP Integrated Urban Systems Partnership, Cool Coalition and is part of the Executive Council for Alliance for Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE).
Sudheer holds an MBA from Said Business School at Oxford University (2007) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. (2000). He balances an active lifestyle of yoga and dance with his daily meditation regime. He enjoys reading philosophy, metaphysics and quantum physics dabbling between ways to integrate more interconnected, systems and circular thinking into the work he does. Than a “fight against climate change” he prefers to call his work in sustainability as simply reducing the relative speed of entropy gain from human action. With preference for immersive travel to more off-beat locations he now also increasingly spends time at Auroville and similar spiritual communities around the world.
