Silvia is the coordinator of the CIRAWA project, and has more than 18 years of research experience at CARTIF where she has developed and coordinated national and international projects related to agroecology, agriculture, Nature Based Solutions and waste valorisation, all focused on improving sustainability and the environment.

She has an MSc in Agri-Food and Agri-Environmental Sciences (2025), Environmental science degree (2019), and two vocational training courses in Environmental Health (2005) and Analysis and Quality Control (2007).With a short research stay at the University of Manchester and Liverpool (2017) and several scientific publications and contributions to international conferences.
