Dr. Sachin Kumar is Director at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, New Delhi and leads the program on Industry, Building, and Cooling. He has more than 24 years of experience in the field of energy efficiency and environment improvement in industry sector. Dr. Kumar is closely involved in various initiatives being undertaken for decarbonisation of industry sector in India. Dr. Kumar has provided strategic advisory services to a range of industry sub-sectors in the field of energy efficiency and sustainable development. He has published many papers focusing on energy and environmental aspects related to industry sector.
Dr. Kumar is an engineer by education and has passed his B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from Regional Engineering College Hamirpur, M. Tech (Environmental Engineering) from Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh, and doctorate from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi.
