Pascal Egli holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Lausanne (2022), where he studied subglacial channels and glacier retreat, and a Master’s from ETH Zurich (2014) on Large Eddy Simulations for urban canopies. He has experience in natural hazard engineering and hydraulic modeling (1D/2D), and has conducted glaciology fieldwork across the Alps, Norway, Chile, Pakistan, Uganda, and Nepal. His methods include GPR, hot water drilling, UAV photogrammetry, tracer experiments, sensor and meteo station installations, and dGPS.
