Nithin Coca

Nithin Coca is an award-winning, Asia-focused freelance journalist. He regularly contributes features and investigative pieces to outlets including to Vox, Nikkei Asia, Coda Story, The Diplomat, Al Jazeera, and The Nation. Coca has been awarded fellowships from the Pulitzer Center, the McGraw Center for Business Journalism, the International Center for Journalists and the Solutions Journalism Network to support his reporting.

As a journalist, Coca focuses on stories that build connections across borders and topics. This includes linking supply chains and trade between Southeast Asia and China, or looking at the human rights impacts of the clean energy transition.
