Mette Wilkie

Since 2014, Mette Løyche Wilkie is Director, Division of Environmental Policy Implementation (DEPI). She has over 25 years of experience in providing technical and policy advice to developing countries, partner organisations and international conventions on sustainable forestry, environmental management and rural development issues as well as an extensive experience in managing large and complex programmes. She worked in several countries for diverse institutions. Ms. Wilkie also worked for the Forestry Department of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and led the FAO’s Global Forest Resources Assessment Programme. She holds a BSc and MSc in Forestry, and a MSc in Environmental Management.
