Matrushri P. Shetty is a development sector professional with an experience of 18 years working across sectors with special focus on Air Pollution, Climate Change and Health, with her work revolving around strategy development, program management and impact measurement of projects funded by US Department of State, Health Care Without Harm, Max India Foundation, Standard Chartered Bank among others. She also has special expertise in management of multi-stakeholder coalitions and networks for collective impact. In her current profile she works with the Bicycle Mayor network and other partners (Government and NGO sector) in India to amplify the power of cycling and active mobility as a key solution to beat air pollution in urban areas due to increased vehicular emissions and promote cycling as an alternative healthy lifestyle choice for self and the city.  

She is also a fellow of the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program – ‘International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) – Single Country Program for Infectious Diseases’, in the context of assimilating learning in COVID-19 management to prevent and manage future outbreaks of COVID-like pandemic.
