Ms. Labatut draws from 15 years of professional experience in energy and climate policy for government entities, trade associations, and the private sector. She previously served as deputy director for European affairs at EDF and as policy director at Eurelectric, the Brussels-based European power sector trade body, where she occupied several managerial and expert roles. As an electricity market expert, she also worked on long-term European Union (EU) energy scenarios and investment projects at EDF in Paris. Earlier on, Ms. Labatut managed cooperation projects focusing on energy policies in Vietnam. Marion Labatut holds a Masters in Economics and International Business from Sciences Po Paris and an MSc in Energy Systems Optimization from Mines ParisTech.
