Data Analyst at BPIE, specialising in analysing energy, climate and building-related data. With a PhD from the University of Liège, his research focused on climate change’s impact on building energy performance, with a focus on resilient cooling solutions. Essam was also an active member at IEA EBC Annex 80 – Resilient Cooling of Buildings. At BPIE, Essam contributes to different projects like the Healthy Buildings Barometer and EASI ZERo. He is also a Belgium country representative at YES-EUROPE, advocating for youth engagement in the energy sector.
