Dr. Nazih Toubal acquired throughout his professional and academic journey a versatile palette of skills in communication, research, policy, and science. At the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain, he researched institutional communication strategies surrounding green hydrogen development in the Mediterranean, focusing on increasing cooperation through effective communication, between northern and southern countries in the region. 

He currently manages EU funded projects at REVOLVE, focusing on implementing communication and dissemination activities across several thematic schemes including energy efficiency and renewable energy. 

Nazih’s publications include a policy brief for the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMED) giving valuable recommendations to the European Commission and Southern Mediterranean countries in their potential collaboration on green hydrogen.  

Nazih actively participates in forums, conferences, and workshops engaging with young researchers, policy makers and entrepreneurs in building valuable partnerships to accelerate the development of cutting-edge solutions to address current environmental challenges in the Mediterranean.
