Abhijit Ghorpade is a senior officer of Government of Maharashtra from the Dy. Collector cadre of the State Civil service. He has a wide and varied experience of working in various capacities such as OSD to Hon Minister for Cooperation, Relief and Rehabilitation, Private Secretary to Hon. Executive Chairman, State Planning Board and Private Secretary to Hon Chief minister of Maharashtra. Mr. Ghorpade has also worked as Additional Chief Lands and Survey Officer and Township Services Manager at CIDCO, Resident Dy Collector and Additional District Magistrate, Ratnagiri and General Manager, Marketing at Maharashtra Industrial development Corporation. 

Passionate about nature and concerned about environmental issues, Mr Abhijit Ghorpade is currently Director of the State Climate Action Cell under the Environment and Climate Change department, Government of Maharashtra.
