Rita Jacinto is a Programme Manager at the Division for Pedestrian Accessibility, in the Lisbon City Council, Portugal. Rita has collaborated on a variety of projects and public policy initiatives improving pedestrian mobility. She currently manages a pilot-project developing innovative work to improve the safety of women in public spaces and access to public transport. While collaborating on national and international projects, Rita is passionate about developing collaborative and strategic ways to improve the accessibility and mobility opportunities of the most excluded groups in urban areas.
