Namrata Kabra is a legal researcher specializing in environmental and climate change with a diverse range of expertise in India and South Asia. She’s with Kubernein Initiative as a Programme Associate for Water & Climate Security and leads the South Asia Bioregionalism Working Group. Her research areas span interdisciplinary domains, integrating legal, environmental, and socio-economic factors. These include climate risks, urban water governance, transboundary river basins and climate cooperation, differentiated impacts on indigenous communities and gender, human mobility, rights of nature, and bioregional governance.
