As Director of the Belgium Climate Risk Assessment Center, he leads its establishment and advises the National Security Council on climate risks. Previously, he was Head of Coordination at the European Environment Agency, enhancing international engagement and implementing the 2030 Strategy. He also served as European Regional Director for IUCN, managing over 360 member organizations and leading EU policy interventions. His experience includes advisory roles in Belgian government sustainable development policies and representing The Climate Group in Brussels.
