As Senior Expert for Sustainable Energy Systems at ICLEI Europe, Arthur focuses on promoting the socially inclusive uptake of renewable energy Infrastructure with a particular emphasis on the role of local governments in facilitating an accelerated, but inclusive energy transition. He is the facilitator and coordinator of the Fast & Fair Renewables & Grids Initiative, Europe’s first cross-sectoral consensus and framework for facilitating renewable energy and grid projects that are perceived as fair for all.  He also analyses policies addressing energy communities, energy poverty and the interface with citizen behaviour and has extensive experience in Managing co-creation, capacity building and replication work streams as part of multiple EU Horizon projects.
