Formerly a Consultant in sustainable development strategy, Etienne Charbit has worked at réseau Cler since 2019, first as Energy Efficiency Policy Officer and, since 2024, as Europe Policy Officer. He contributes to the association’s advocacy work on energy efficiency in buildings and renewables: he actively contributes to the association’s positioning on French and EU public policies (e.g. EPBD, EED, ETS 2, Social Climate Fund, RED…), by developing targeted expertise (e.g. on proposals for the Social Climate Fund/Plans, benefit sharing of renewables, minimum energy performance standards in buildings…), and represents the association with institutions (ministries, members of parliament…) and partners (CAN Europe, Renovate Europe, Community Power Coalition).
