Energy Sharing for Inclusivity: EUSEW 2025 Policy Session on Empowering Communities

Join COMANAGE on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, from 11:30 to 13:00 CEST at the EUSEW Policy Conference in Brussels for the session: Is energy sharing possible? Empowering communities for inclusivity.

Organised by five LIFE sister projects – LIFE BECKON, ConnectHeat, LIFE LOOP, TANDEMS, and COMANAGE – this session will explore how energy communities across Europe are building flexible and inclusive energy systems, often in the face of regulatory and legal challenges. It will also examine how EU policy can better support energy sharing as a tool for a fair, citizen-led energy transition.

COMANAGE is pleased to share that Marcel Camps Inglés, from the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) and part of COMANAGE, will be among the featured speakers. Marcel will present local energy sharing initiatives that engage vulnerable consumers, offering insights from Barcelona’s efforts to promote the right to energy.
