Jakob Rager

Jakob holds a doctorate in science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and a master’s degree in economics and industrial engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (KIT). In 2015, he successfully presented his doctoral thesis on the optimisation of an urban energy system. Passionate about the analysis of complex energy systems in a holistic manner and from a sustainable development perspective, he has been Director of the Centre de recherches énergétiques et municipales (CREM) in Martigny since September 2016. At the same time, he is a member of several working groups and a lecturer in universities of applied sciences. He is the project coordinator of the EnerMaps project.
