Florinda Boschetti

Florinda works at Polis since 2012. She leads Polis’ thematic pillar on Environment and Health in Transport, and coordinates the two working groups on active travel and health, and bikeshare. She is giving technical assistance to local authorites in several EU co-funded projects on transport and urban development, smart mobility and cities, energy and climate change. Florinda is also the Coordinator of the SUMP 2019 Conference. Before joining Polis, she has worked in cycling advocacy at the EU level in Brussels (2009-2012), and as an Urban Planner in the public sector in Italy (2003-2005).

Florinda earned a PhD in sustainable transport planning in 2009, a specialising Master certificate in Retail and Town Planning (2003), and a MSc in Urban, Environmental and Regional Planning from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2001.
