Alicia is a writer, photographer, video editor and digital data analyst. Her work has appeared in several Spanish media outlets (El País, VICE Spain or eldiairo.es) and in The Guardian. She has worked as a video-producer for the Red Cross and worked with other NGOs on in-depth investigative reports about racism.
I’m sustainable
I usually share eco-motorbikes to travel within Barcelona. I also like to do sports outdoors and wander around parks, especially in my neighborhood where there are beautiful views of the Barcelona skyline. In general, I want to breathe fresh air by being surrounded by nature, in an urban park is great but most of all I like to get to the mountains or the beach.
The future I want
I would like to see more initiatives like Espigoladors, an organization that works towards reducing food surplus and that employs people at risk of poverty or social exclusion. I believe that sustainability must go hand-in-hand with social justice.
