In one of the largest urban restoration projects to date in Europe, the French artist Guillaume Bottazzi contributed a 50 square-meter mural to rendering the port neighborhood of Ciotat, Marseille, more attractive:

This mural was within the context of the European Cultural Capital award to Marseille-Provence (MP) 2013 and marks the entrance of the Quartier de l’Abeille (The Bee Quarter).

Guillaume Bottazzi has carried out over 30 large scale murals like this one in Ciotat, Marseille, including a massive 900 square meter mural on the side of the renowned Miyanomori International Museum of Art in Japan.
